I knew I need something on the softer side for the album and since I am not known for being an 'erotic' poet I didn't have anything for this song. So I wrote this in the studio in about two hours. I remember Billy Bones coming home and wanting to listen to what I had done and I told him to give me a minute because I felt I was on to something (hope he wasn't offended...lol). Originally the track was just keyboard, drum and guitar but when Billy finally heard it the first thing he said was 'You gotta let me lay a bass line on that' and so it was...
I consider this a song more than a poem. I had a lot of time by myself in the studio to create. So this is what happens when I am alone and aloud to experiment... Go figure... lol
